What It Is

Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP) is an inherited eye disorder that gradually damages the retina (the light sensitive tissue at the back of your eye). It affects about 1 in 3500 - 4000 Canadians and has no cure.



How It Affects Me

- night blindness
-tunnel vision (loss of peripheral vision)
sparkly lights/ wiggly lines in the field of vision
- light sensitivity
- difficulty seeing colors
- loss of details
- eye pain
